We had tremendous response from people coming in along with Angandwadi workers. It was a very successful workshop & each woman & man received the Breast Self Exam card in Telugu/Hindi/Urdu. with utmost understanding of the importance of Breast Cancer Screening. Sincerely thankful to Sreeni Puspala from Charlotte, NC, for connecting to Rohini Kandala in Hyderabad who connected to Mr. Mettukadi Sreenivasulu who organized the session (my utmost thanks).
We plan to work together so that the methodology of Breast self exam card in Telugu/Urdu reaches to mass population through Angandwadi workers.. like a ripple effect. My heartfelt thanks to Ms. Sandhya Chintamkar for translating my session in Hindi to Telugu. It was also great listening from Ms. Manjula and Mr. Shankarachary about the social reform they are trying to bring & great work they are doing. I am thankful to Mr. Prabhakar for reporting about the importance of Breast Cancer Awareness & the press release. Finally, sincerely grateful to Mr. Mettukadi Sreenivasulu for supporting the cause, organizing the event and his selfless efforts. Mr. Sreenivasulu is a social activist, State President for Telangana BC Mahasabha, President Sree Vani Arts Academy and tremendously working towards the social issues.
