Breast Cancer Awareness Seminar at Government Girls High School, Mahboobia, Hyderabad: I loved conducting the educational session and the students grasped the concept of cancer and early detection so well. They understood the importance of Breast Self Exam from the age 17-18 years and also realized that they need to take the Breast self exam cards (given from Breast cancer hub) and explain to their families at home and make sure their parents, and everyone in the family perform Breast screening for early detection. I hope more schools will come forward & if we can help the youngsters break the taboo and discuss breast health, we won't be far away from bringing the survival rate of Breast cancer rise up significantly. So thankful to (from left) Mrs. Neeraja. Dr, Anitha Kotla, Mrs. Uma (H.M) for your tremendous support towards the cause that helped in executing the session.
