Wonderful mentoring the first group of highschool students from North Carolina today (3 hour session) & can’t wait to see them becoming the community leaders as they conduct scientific cancer awareness sessions in their network! It will be such a proud moment for me. I connected the students with cancer concepts through real-time scenarios based on my research & BCH work at grassroot level. Topic: Etiology of Cancer & Metastasis, Preventable Measures & Early Detection, Risk Factors, Genetics & Role of Inflammation, Impact of Palliative Care & Support group.
