Presently working as an assistant Professor, in the department of Zoology, Gauhati University. Completed my Ph.D. from North Eastern Hill University, shillong. Published more than 30 research articles in national and international journal of repute. Current interest of research includes the role of aquporins, in inflammation and cardiac hypertrophy. Also try to explore the role of WNT pathway in Diabetics and inflammation. Awarded with Department of Science and Technology, GOVT. of India early research carrier award in 2016.
Mission statement:
I like to be part of Breast cancer hub family. I want to spread the awareness to each and every one to our region. As North east India is having highest incidence of cancer case so early detection awareness camp will help our people to know about the diseases and its preventive measures. I can also involve our students for this noble cause. As a teacher of Science I also participated in epidemiological survey.
