Daffodil School, Silchar, Assam, 12th April 2024: One of my missions with Breast Cancer Hub (BCH) is to generate awareness in the youth so that they can carry the life-saving education forward in their network of family and friends, as I conduct workshop on Early detection cancer screening, risk factors, preventative measures, palliative care, providing all the resources along with my contact information so that any suspicious cases can reach out to me later. Thank you Ms. Sudatta Das Kanungo, for supporting the cause and inviting me to conduct the seminar. My immense gratitude to Ms. Babi Dutta Dey (Vice Principal), and the esteemed faculty and staff for the honor and the flawless execution: Ms. Sudatta Das Kanungo, Ms. Barnali Dhar, Ms. Lopamudra Chakraborty, Ms. Mandira Dutta Choudhury, Ms. Dolonchapa Das Purkayastha, Ms. Jaya Dutta Ray, Ms. Suma Sengupta, Ms. Paramita Dasgupta, Ms. Pampi Senapati, Ms. Susmita Goswami, Ms. Gyanbati Baidya, Ms. Bandita Trivedi, Ms. Mausumi Nath, Ms. Chandrima Deb, Ms. Nandini Mazumdar, Mr. Vishal Chakraborty, Ms. Sourav Sen, Ms. Bibhas Mandal, Ms. Uttam Mandal, Mr. Sandip Singh, Ms. Sandipan Dutta Purkayastha.

It was a very fulfilling session and was great interacting with the students and Faculty members during the Q&A. I also loved the engagement of the boys along with the girls, great satisfaction!

I was also so touched meeting the Breast Cancer Conqueror Ms. Anjana Das from Dafodill school and learning about her brave journey.
On behalf of Breast Cancer Hub (BCH), post-session, I shared BCH Resources with the URL of Breast Self Exam (BSE) cards in 24 languages & also URL of Early detection Cards for other prevalent cancers, along with other resources, to download & share in the network with my contact information, so that any suspected case can reach out to me if need any further guidance, support & counseling & we can navigate in the right direction, help detect & treat early as early detection is the key to saving lives. In addition, also handed out multi-colored awareness keyrings with blue representing Breast Cancer in Men, Pink for Women, and Purple for all cancers and all genders, as a reminder to perform BSE every month, along with bookmarks.
