Maskeen Kaur - Summer 2020

My name is Maskeen Kaur. I am currently taking Health Science 1&2 Honors and Biotechnology courses as a junior at Cox Mill High School. However, I have also taken Marketing and Finance to contemporarily grasp the idea of Digital Marketing. BCH’s Internship Program advanced me in data analytics and expanded my ideas and approaches on social media platforms like: instagram, facebook and whatsapp. As an Intern, I applied marketing strategies to my action plan, improvised BCH’s approaches to reach their audience and detailed infographics of BCH 's maximum number of people. Moreover, volunteering is one of my favorite hobbies, especially in COVID19 as I provided free homemade packaged food at shelter homes.Volunteering at Atrium Health Care was a great experience to view the hospital’s systems carefully. HOSA helped me find my leadership qualities which allowed me to earn volunteering certifications. In future, I would be glad to join internship programs relating to medical fields as that is my career goal. BCH will always be close to my heart and I would love to spread as much awareness as I can about Breast Cancer and other types of cancer as well.
