I have completed my Masters in Biotechnology from Vellore Insititute of Technology, Vellore. Currently staying with my parents in Silchar. Biological research intrigues me because it allows questioning of what I think I am intimately familiar with. During my post graduation, I have done a couple number of projects on Molecular Biology, Microbiology and Developmental Biology that has driven me passionate towards research. Also I love to read and bake during my free time.

Mission Statement:

Coming from a town like Silchar, I have realized the need of breaking the stigma is immense. Till now cancer has no permanent cure but if detected early can be treatable. In order to make this happen, it is important to make people aware of cancer specially those in the remote areas. From the official BCH website, I have learnt how it is doing its best to create awareness among the people by organising various outreach programmes to break the taboo. I hope that from my part as an ambassador, I will contribute as much possible from my part to break the stigma and spread awareness mainly to the people in the remote areas.
