I am a Graduate of Masters in Biotechnology from Vellore Institute of Technology, currently residing in Pune, Maharashtra. From a young age science has always been a very important part of life and working towards finding answers for whatever question the pops into my mind has been something that has developed into a sort of passion. Learning about cancer in Grad school inclined my interests towards the subject. Apart from science I am very passionate about art and singing. Growing up in a family and community where talking about "issues" especially ones such as breast cancer and reproductive health, was considered as something that shouldn't be freely discussed; I hope to work towards breaking this societal stigma by starting right at home.

Mission Statement:

Cancer has been a subject of interest when it came to delving into a career in the field of research. Working on a couple projects on cancer gave me and insight as to how taxing this disease can get not only on someone's body but also their mental well being. I believe that having the knowledge about the nuances of the disease I and being very capable of doing some good for the society, I can help BCH further their mission in all ways that I can.
