I am master’s in molecular biology with specialization in human health and diseases. I completed my master’s from Belgium and before that my bachelor’s in biotechnology from India. My master thesis was based on translational research on multiple myeloma. Following my master’s I returned to India and started working at a lab where my project was concerned with proteomics characterization of head and neck squamous cell carcinoma.

I stay with my parents and a younger brother in Navi Mumbai, India. I also have special interest in subjects like philosophy and psychology and hence in my spare time I like to read and write. I am equally interested in sports and have attained a black belt in karate.

Mission Statement:

Spending almost 2 years in cancer research, my desire to know about it has become deeper. My vision in life is to see a healthier world, devoid of cancer. My interest in cancer research and volunteering towards the cause also developed after losing my grandmother to breast cancer. I believe that having studied so much about the subject and being from the research background I can contribute my bit in educating the masses about cancer. Breast Cancer Hub is an excellent platform in my opinion and serving as an ambassador of the same would help me achieve my mission of “saving lives” along with the organization. Everybody deserves to live and if intervened at the right time, a lot of people can be given a new life.
