The main aims and activities of “Fadia Survive & Thrive Association” are revolving around cancer prevention, control and alleviating its side effects by improving patients' quality of life via evidence-based knowledge that is put into action.
The Association has been very active in its first operational phase in making sure that everything is done to allow cancer patients to survive and thrive with the best possible information and knowledge that could be put into action to improve their quality of life, while supporting prevention and awareness campaigns, besides scientific research that can improve cancer patients’ quality of life.
The Association is also acknowledging the unique needs of advanced/metastatic cancer patients by aiming to facilitate (in a second operational phase) their access to advanced cancer drug at minimal cost and bureaucracy with equality in the eyes of cancer; getting the advanced cancer drug regardless of cancer patients’ race, gender, national origin, color, ethnicity, religion, financial condition or any other characteristics not related to cancer diagnosis. Mission Statement: Awareness and Prevention, while focusing on the quality of life for cancer patients and the public in general are some of our key missions which overlap with other organizations like Breast Cancer Hub, and it would be great to synergize in this cause.
