Leena started her singing at a tender age of 5. She is a trained Hindustani Classical , Nazrul geeti and Rabindra Sangeet singer. She had gone for further learning of Classical vocal , Bhajans and Haveli Sangeet under the tutalage of Pandit Rattan Mohan Sharma, nephew and disciple of Sangeet Martand - Pandit Jasraj. Her love for Rabindra Sangeet got well nurtured with more specialisation by none other than the legendary singer, composer and exponent of Rabindra Sangeet - Suchitra Mitra.
Couple of years back , Leena shifted to Queen City from Melbourne. Presently , she has a music school named SHRUTI VANDANA she teaches Hindustani Classical, Semi Classical and Rabindra Sangeet to spread the knowledge of Music .
