Medical Resource Project – A Sustainable Solution for the underprivileged, low- & middle-income families affected with cancer.

“Inception & Purpose (Dr Lopamudra Das Roy): Working with Cancer patients in urban & rural sectors, I realized, even though there are hospitals providing Cancer treatment in subsidized rate, but the information is not easily available to our community. There is a huge gap with treatment accessibility for underprivileged, uninsured sectors and the low- & middle-income group as the expenses of cancer drugs & treatment procedures are extremely high & leads to financial crisis for the families. Lack of correct information & awareness deprives the patients’ access to the healthcare facilities, eventually leading to irreversible consequence. We do not want anyone to go untreated due to financial crunch.
Mission: To build a database with trustworthy information of the hospitals serving patients at subsidized cost, accepting the government financial schemes, and helping with Aid to support. In addition, we want to capture information of any medical resources providing anticancer generic drugs – cost effective & meeting the same standard as the brand.”
