Patient (36 years), Sierra Leone, Africa: Testimonial: “I wish to Thank Breast Cancer Hub for their financial support towards my Chemotherapy it has been a very difficult time of my life especially being a mother of (3) young children and a husband and mother to care for. Am coping well and trying to accept that I have just one Breast. My Prayers are offered to Breast Cancer Hub and thanking them very much for helping to save my precious life.”

Case history: Patient (Name undisclosed), a 36 years old mother of 3. She is a Beneficiary of Funds donated by Breast Cancer Hub .  Thinking Pink met her at Connaught Hospital, ward 2 during visit in commemoration of World Cancer Day on February 4; The sister in charge at the ward appealed on her behalf: Rated her as destitute.  She had a sore on her left Breast which presented as stage (4) Breast Cancer as per diagnosis. Our Foundation took up her responsibility to save her life and with funds from Breast Cancer Hub we assisted her for her Chemotherapy. Funds from Breast Cancer Hub Paid for her 1 cycle in the amount of one million five hundred (Le 1,500,000). She was prescribed with 5 cycles of Chemotherapy by the Surgical Oncologist. She has undergone a successful Mastectomy paid for by another Donor and administered 1 cycle of Chemotherapy thus far. We are still soliciting funds for her remaining (3) Cycles.
