Supply Chain Director at Makro Peru

Lima, Peru, South America

I am an Industrial Engineer graduated from Universidad de Lima, Peru, with 17 years of professional experience. During my career, I have performed distinct roles both in operational and management positions, mostly in Supply Chain with emphasis in Distribution and Warehousing. I also had the opportunity to develop my career among various industries such as pharmaceutical, retail, wholesale, steel and logistics operators. Currently, I am in charge of Supply Chain department, which includes Planning and Distribution, of the most important cash & carry wholesaler in Latam. As another step in my career, since 2017 I am pursuing an MBA degree in Kellogg School of Management.

Alongside my professional path, I have dedicated the last 8 years to a volunteer cause, working for a NPO called “Accion Emprendedora”, which mission is to provide low income entrepreneurs with management tools and help them to improve their businesses. Volunteer work became my passion when I discovered how gratifying is to invest some of our knowledge and time in helping others.

Mission statement:
I have had the honor of being invited by Dr. Lopa Das Roy to be part of this great cause. Her work at Breast Cancer Hub not only inspires me and many others but help woman and their families to become aware of the importance of prevention. I could not be more proud and grateful of being a member of this community which worthy mission is to save lives.

Would love to contribute with BCH developing partnerships in Latin American countries like Peru, Colombia, Argentina, Venezuela and other Spanish speakers, with other NPO’s and organizations. Through these connections we would be able to spread up information more rapidly among population in South America.
