An Arts graduate from Lady Keane College, Shillong in 1976. Went to J.B Law college, Jorhat. My hobbies are gardening, painting. I am married to Prof. D.K Patgiri and together we have three sons, all happily married. I am an ex- President of Barbari Ladies Club of Assam Medical College, Dibrugarh.

Mission statement:
Being a homemaker now, I have sometime to attend as guest, activities of few clubs nearby like Rotary club, Inner wheel club, Dibrugarh Ladies club. During my visits, I will have sometime to propagate the advices and other activities to the people of Dibrugarh city under the banner of BCH.
