Dr. Sandhya Ravi is a Consultant General and Breast Surgeon and the Co-founder of Prameya Health. She has over 32 years of experience as a clinical practitioner with expertise in breast diseases. She also has over 23 years of experience in clinical trials, heading clinical trials services at Lotus Labs, Norwich Clinical Services and Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology. Dr. Sandhya has published several papers in reputed scientific journals both in India and abroad in addition to delivering multiple talks in the areas of Breast Cancer, Clinical Trials, Good Clinical Practices, Evidence based Medicine, and Preventive & Supportive Healthcare. She is a strong advocate of preventive health practices in the management of lifestyle diseases including Cancer. She founded Prameya Health, a preventive and supportive care center in 2016 and is currently the Managing Director. Prameya Health offers a series of programs designed to interactively raise the awareness in Functional, Emotional, Spiritual and Nutritional or FENS domains of patient care. Dr. Sandhya, brings over 3 decades of experience with cancer patients and an understanding of the unmet supportive care needs of women with cancer. Prameya Health was founded with the objective of addressing these unmet needs and does so with its flagship cancer support program called SAHAI. Dr. Sandhya completed her M.B.B.S in 1982, from Stanley Medical College in Madras and her M.S (General Surgery) from the Bangalore Medical College in 1986. She is an avid reader, loves to travel and go on treks. Also a proud grandmother of a delightful 3 year old .
