Born in a small town of Assam, namely, Nazira, eventually settled at Dharmanagar, Tripura. Being a Differently Abled Person, could not continue education beyond High School level. For few years engaged in medical shop being owner but that was not the goal of life. Had an intention to support the PWDs. With the dream of my life, I ultimately founded one NGO with the support of some other PWD & Civil society members in 1991. Being the secretary of the organization, I feel that people of our Society, trust & support our organization without any hesitation. I have undergone many training programs on Disability/FCC/Empowerment etc..
I have my wife & only one son, a student of Polytechnic College, Guwahati.
My wife is also a Special Educator, completed Diploma in Special Education. There after completed Master in Education.
My hobbies are listening to old days music, Traveling as per my capacity.
Cancer is a killer disease. Every year so many people die in India due to lack of awareness/timely intervention etc. I am myself a cancer patient, presently fully cured, only due to timely treatment. B.C.H. have the experience, Resource Persons, fully equipped to counter the Cancer disease. Blind & Handicapped Association & other community people will be highly benefitted if Blind & Handicapped Association tie up with BCH for the best interest of our society & as a whole our NGO.
