August 6, 2022: Capital Hospital, Bhubaneswar, Govt of Odisha: I do a series of grassroots groundwork before we adopt villages at Breast Cancer Hub villages and one of the most important structures is to take the suspicious cases to the hospital for further screening and treatment, taking care end to end. As we are in the process of villages adoption in Odisha, so my goal was to meet the hospital providing free/subsidized cancer care. It was my immense pleasure meeting Dr. Nihar Ranjan Samal, and his team at Capital Hospital, Bhubaneswar, discussing our programs, and Dr. Samal assuring me of the services our BCH patients can receive free/subsidized. No words to express my gratitude to Mr. Akhaya Mohanty, for all his support and help to execute the Odisha outreaches and extremely thankful to Mr. Jonesh Pattnayek for helping us throughout the Odisha outreach. I am extremely thankful to Mr Radhakrushna Das, Chairman, UIS Cancer Foundation, and the entire team of UIS Cancer Foundation for helping us connect to the Capital Cancer Hospital.
