Mission statement:
My mom is a breast cancer survivor so my involvement with the Breast Cancer Hub is a personal one. She was diagnosed with early stage breast cancer in 1997 after having a history of benign breast lumps. She frequently did self-examinations knowingly that a benign lump could easily become a malignant lump. It saved her life, literally. I have two daughters, so awareness and frequent examinations will always be part of our lives. I want to help spread the word to create an opportunity for another life to be saved.
