Tamakia J. Edwards currently serves as the Capital Construction Program Manager for the General Services Administration’s Public Buildings Service. As a key member of regional leadership in the Great Lakes Region, she is responsible for leading the vision for long-range planning for the organization’s real property assets.

Edwards is active in both public and professional communities, participating and speaking at construction conferences and serving on the Board of Directors for Wells Temple of Deliverance (WTOD) as the Public Relations Liaison.

She is currently pursuing her MBA from Northwestern University- Kellogg’s School of Management and achieved a Bachelor of Science from IIT in Architectural Engineering. Mrs. Edwards currently resides with her husband and 3 sons in the Chicagoland area.

Mission statement:
Being a part of Breast Cancer Hub (BCH) & its cause is a humbling experience. BCH will educate, engage and promote the important message of Breast Cancer awareness.  As an African American woman, I understand the importance of medical access to underrepresented communities.  I plan to spread the message about early screening, Breast Cancer education and BCH as a community partner and resource. Utilize my platform to collaborate with community organization I serve to expand the BCH vision.
