Captain Evey Cormican flies Boeing 757/767’s for a major U.S. airline. Previous roles include; Assistant Chief pilot, the flight operations representative for the HIMS base monitoring committee, MX liaison, and the IAH Chief Pilot office community affairs representative, B756 Instructor/Evaluator responsible for Initial and Continuing Qualification pilot training, Flight Manual writing and editing to align and ensure standardized international procedures across all fleets.
Her story is that of an immigrant girl from a patriarchal society and how she could enter and excel in a male dominated industry and still keep her sense of humor. When she is not flying to other continents she is a happily married mother of three. Evey received her MBA at Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Business.
Mission statement
Captain Evey Cormican is a Breast Cancer Survivor and she believes that Education and early detection equals survival. One woman at a time = one family at a time… in perpetuity.
