Sanjana Surapaneni - Summer 2020
My name is Sanjana Surapaneni, and I am currently a rising 11th grader at Alliance Academy for Innovation in Cumming, GA. I am enrolled in the healthcare pathway and an active member of our school’s HOSA chapter. I also serve as my class secretary and hold a leadership position in SkillsUSA and Georgia Youth Leaders. I love to spend any time I can spare volunteering in services that benefit the community. In the future, I hope to pursue a career in the healthcare field. Outside of school and volunteering, I enjoy cooking/baking, the outdoors, and spending time with friends and family. Being a young woman in today’s society, I believe that it is my duty to bring about any ounce of change and help others to do the same as well. Seeing as breast cancer is one of the most common types of cancer within the United States, I felt that spreading awareness, raising funds for research, and educating others about early detection would benefit society greatly and help many lives and families in the process. I am very excited to be a part of the BCH family and to help spread awareness.
