I have done my Ph.D. in Biotechnology with a specialization in developmental neurobiology from Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology, Kerala, India. My husband is an immunologist and we have a son who will be turning three. We live in Chennai.

Mission Statement:

As a researcher I wanted to work on projects which would help people in a more direct way. The thought intensified as my mom was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in 2017. Though we had approached very good doctors from our close circle, I still was left with many doubts and questions unanswered. That’s when I started reading more about cancer. At that point I was very thankful that I had a strong scientific background as it helped me understand the scientific research and identify the key points that helped us strive through in a better way.  

Early detection combined with the right course of treatment is always a blessing. The awareness created by constant efforts of BCH has already helped many and I am sure will help many more. I would love to be part of BCH and hope to be able to contribute.
